• Application (How will I obey?)

The goal isn’t novel insight but encountered truth that reshapes living.

Listening Posture

Invite the Spirit to illuminate. Ask: What does this reveal about God’s character? What response of trust or repentance is invited?

Barriers

Distraction, over-familiarity, fragmented attention. Counter with intentional slowing and journaling impressions.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, breathe upon the Word as I read. Let it pierce, comfort, correct, and empower. Amen.
